Jen and Brent

Pretty in pink was the theme of the day!  We incorporated lots of amazing spring flowers for this beautiful June wedding.  Using blush peonies, heirloom hot pink peonies, garden roses, fugi mums, mokara orchids, bright green hypericum berries with lots of textured foliages such as dusty miller, maidenhair fern and some trailing oak leaf ivy we created an english garden extravaganza.   Jen was thrilled with the results!!

Jenn and Blake

Jenn came to me with a vision...simple, vintage elegance.  We incorporated lots of textural flowers in muted shades of ivory, cream, straw and palest peach.   Jenn collected many great pieces of vintage lace and other items for the wedding to create a unique and totally personal experience.  In fact, after her own wedding, Jenn was so inspired that she started her own rental business featuring an assortment of vintage items and eclectic finds.
Check out her amazing collection at Brossie Belle.

Fun photo shoot at the Berg Event Space

China mums, hellebores, brunia berries, dusty miller foliage, succulents, blush garden roses, white anemones with black centers, and blueberry viburnum....all wrapped in a rough and romantic burlap ribbon finished with a vintage brooch.  Many thanks to Darbi G. for the AMAZING photos!
Bountiful and gorgeous...lots of texture with jasmine tendrils, ferns and queen anne's lace.

Bird's nests at each place setting.  So sweet!

A beautiful cake by Rebekah Foster.  Silver, gold and bronze leaves create an organic and stylish cake.

Vintage centerpieces--wooden platforms, mercury glass and assorted containers.

Megan and Matt

Just wanted to share one of our pretty June weddings with everyone. Megan wanted a very feminine, vintage inspired wedding that showcased pretty shades of cornflower blue, porcelain blue, and white with accents of navy.

We incorporated so many beautiful flowers into all of the arrangements---everything from peonies, garden roses, grape muscari, sweet peas, mock orange, assorted grasses, succulents, passion flower vine (with blooms!!), ranunculus, lily of the valley, bouvardia, hydrangea, blackberry privet, maidenhair fern, clematis blossoms, nigella, blooming white summer clematis (small star shaped blossoms like our fall clematis in Kansas City but with deep purple stems)....a little bit of everything unique, feminine and pretty that I could find.

It was such a fun wedding to work on! Thanks to Jenny Steffens Hobrick for coordinating this amazing day for Megan and Matt. And, thanks to Blixt photography for these breathtaking images!!
